Original, realistic and/or representational art painted en Plein Air (on location) ONLY. No studio paintings will be accepted. Paintings created in a workshop are ineligible.

Although we encourage you to paint in beautiful Galveston Island, you can paint from your favorite outdoor space anywhere and submit your work.  Remember to take a selfie while you are painting your submission.

If you wish to submit your art for sale, it must be priced, labeled and wired by you (the artist).

Sales commission is 40% of the retail price. NO SALES may be made directly by you (the artist).

Minimum size: No side smaller than 5” x 7”

Maximum size: no side may exceed 16” x 20”

Paintings not meeting the minimum or maximum dimensions will not be displayed.

Submissions are made through 4:00pm., October 19, 2024.

All decisions by the jury panel are final.

Show venue (G Lee Gallery) will receive shipped entries and repack unsold entries for shipment back to artist. Shipping of accepted works to and from the show venue will be arranged by and at the expense of the artist. Hand delivered work is allowed at 2217 Strand St, Suite 107-B, Galveston, Texas 77550.

Shipping & delivery instructions will be included in notification email. All work is to be delivered at the appointed date and time. Pick up of all work is at the appointed date and time as set forth in the shipping instructions.
